Cheese Making Classes in Sonoma Valley

Sonoma Cheese Classes

Award winning cheesemaker Sheana Davis breaks down the barriers to cheesemaking, making it accessible, easy, and fun with energetic, hands-on classes that teach people how to craft a fresh, warm ricotta cheese that is ready to serve and enjoy within 90 minutes

Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a Sonoma or Napa wine and an artisanal cheese tasting, allowing them to explore different types of handcrafted cheeses prior to creating their own.

Next, Sheana leads participants in the interactive process of making a fresh ricotta cheese. All ingredients used are readily available in any local grocery store and the cooking supplies used reside in most home cooks’ kitchens.

Specialized classes are also available, in which Sheana educates guests in creating dishes with their newly created cheese, including lasagna, parfaits, gourmet grilled cheeses, and other epicurean creations. Guest cheesemakers are often available to showcase their own cheeses and techniques, making the class a truly unique experience.

Cheesemaking classes are perfect for team building activities, company meetings, team celebrations, staff events, corporate fun, bridal parties, couples classes, girlfriend getaway weekends, LGBT events, EBT education courses, and more. See the current schedule for Wine Country-based cheesemaking classes by checking out our cheesemaking class calendar.

Or, if you are looking for a custom class for your group, then let’s talk more! To schedule your own culinary cheesemaking experience, contact Sheana Davis at sheanadavis@gmail.com. Private and corporate classes may be arranged and are hosted at various Wine Country venues, including Sonoma Fairmont Mission Inn, Silverado Resort & Country Club, Meadowood, The Lodge in Sonoma, and private homes and estates.
